How did Willie Banks end up running a company called HSJ, Inc.? By becoming one of history’s great triple jumpers! (Guess what HSJ stands for. You’ll find out in this episode.) He set national and word records and made three Olympic teams, though the 1980 U.S. boycott kept him from those games. Still, Willie remained joyous and thinks no one has ever been more fortunate. In this conversation recorded at the Spartan World Championships in 2018, listen for Willie's stories involving OJ Simpson, Bruce (at the time) Jenner, and other timeless names. You'll also catch his passion for global connections, which led him to serve as president and CEO of the fall 2019 ANOC World Beach Games.
