If you think a glow doesn’t have a sound, you’re wrong. You’ll hear it in The Spaniard’s voice during this talk for the D.R.E.A.M. Symposium, an event aimed at growing the D.R.E.A.M. Partnership, an ambitious program involving several colleges in Pennsylvania. The Spaniard gains that same glow every time he teaches and learns from D.R.E.A.M. scholars. These students are exceptional in strength and aspiration, determined to live to the fullest, just like The Spaniard himself. Intellectual disabilities give them a unique perspective and capacity to contribute to everyone around them—in school, on the job, and in this podcast episode.
