Imagine retiring after 18 years at your final job and not rememberinbg most of that time. That is the case with Janet Eldred, the wife of Dread (behind-the-scenes phantom of Spanny’s podcast), due to her early-stage dementia. As Janet leaves her position as a public library director, Dread (under his seldom-used legal name, Keith Eldred) recently helped her mail a farewell letter that requested conversations such as this, to inform Janet of what has slipped away. There’s much overlap with Spanny and the library, where he has held multiple events. Good times (even if not recalled).
