For Steve DeCaspers, the sandwich is reframed. That’s one example in this discussion between Central Pennsylvania natives who go way back (okay, West-Central, as they discuss). A sandwich is choices about meat, cheese, veggies, bread, condiments—not to mention chips and drink on the side!—that Steve now makes differently, along with other eating decisions. Worrisome patterns in his life led him to a retreat (see rockspringsrc.com) where he quickly, healthily lost 38 pounds and gained a new mindset.
